The silhouettes in the first picture look like a guy is getting a little kiss on the back of his head!
The Black Keys killed it last night in Kansas City. I hate that feeling (though I think it is necessary and good to feel it no matter how painful)you get for weeks or months after seeing something you think about on a daily basis with no confirmation on when you get to experience it again.
A couple of observations/experiences: Dan’s hair was cutely parted when he first came out but got messed up immediately. Sadie sat side stage for most of the show. You could absolutely tell they were having a good time. It was a good crowd. They played sinister kid which was a huge highlight for me. I felt very fortunate to be center front row (I’m in this picture from the KC Star). I almost ran into Gus. The Black Keys mean everything to me.
Also it is crazy to think that any day now (well probably when they are on their break from these tour dates they have lined up) they could announce news about their new album. fuuuck.
