This weekend I got to see Pokey LaFarge and the South City Three perform! catpartytime and I screamed so loud in the audience when he mentioned he was opening for Jack White in Tulsa that he singled us out and asked if we were going. Then before performing “Pack it Up” (single from Third Man) he dedicated the song to us! So incredible. His performance was outstanding and mesmerizing.

I also saw one of my musical icons Wanda Jackson perform and even got to speak to her for a second afterward. She is such a great performer. She spoke a little bit before each song, mentioning the year it was recorded and a little history about it. She had the crowd rolling with laughter and everybody dancing. Still in shock and incredibly thankful that I got to experience this weekend.
