Day 18: Favorite Songs this Year

J.D. McPherson’s got that 1950’s rock and roll sound that I am very fond of. The good thing about his music is that although his style is retro, he isn’t trying to hard to make it that way. I feel like his songs have just enough of a modern approach to them which results in some cool stuff.

My Favorite Songs this Year list continues again today. This man is great. He really knows what he is doing…songwriting, guitar playing, singing. I didn’t like every song on his album Blak and Blu but this song (along with others) made me a huge fan.
